Kassaby joins Bluestar Global Logistics on growth trajectory

Melbourne-based company, Bluestar Global Logistics (BGL), has announced the appointment of Mos Kassaby as its Chairman, strategic investor and shareholder.

Kassaby, according to BGL, has a long and successful history in the Australian transport sector and is respected for his vision and comprehensive understanding of the industry.

This follows BGL’s commitment to offer a single touchpoint for all services including 3PL, import/export and transport with the convenience of one platform, contact and invoice.

Muzi Eideh CEO and Michael Panagiotou COO will continue to remain in their current capacities for the foreseeable future to support the continued growth and future development of BGL.

“The last 35 years have been an incredible journey for the Bluestar Group, full of ups and downs,” said CEO Muzi Eideh.

“But none of this would be possible without our amazing team, partners and customers. We started way back in 1987 and have grown into a global service provider and our current service offerings will remain. Mos has long admired Bluestar Global Logistics’ uniqueness and desire to craft value-add, customer-focused solutions while also building a great team and culture.”

Kassaby assured customers, employees and other stakeholders that Bluestar Global Logistics will still be the same company going forward.

“Our mission remains unchanged. We will simply have more resources to continue building products that our customers will enjoy,” he said.

“I’m excited to share more about what we’ll be working on together in the coming months. The possibilities are not only exciting but very attractive and we are only just getting started.”

In other news, heavy vehicles and their freight routes have taken priority with the Federal Government announcing the location of 125 bridges and culverts to get engineering assessments.
