Joe Rizzo retires from PACCAR Australia

After 35 years in the business, PACCAR Australia's Managing Director, Joe Rizzo, announced his retirement. He will be departing the company at the end of March – leaving a significant legacy to the commercial road transport industry.

“Joe has made an excellent contribution to the growth of PACCAR Australia and his leadership has enhanced Kenworth’s reputation as a world-class company,” Helene Mawyer, PACCAR Vice President, said.

“Joe has been an industry spokesman and is a champion of Australian manufacturing. Under Joe’s leadership, PACCAR Australia has introduced many new truck models including the highly acclaimed Kenworth K200 and the DAF XF105, winner of the 2012 Australian International Design Award. We will miss Joe’s friendship, his keen business intellect and extensive industry knowledge.”

Mike Dozier, currently Assistant General Manager at Peterbilt Trucks, will replace Joe, effective March 1st. Mike has been with PACCAR for 24 years in senior management positions, including Peterbilt Manufacturing Engineering Manager and Kenworth Chief Engineer.
