Janus Electric has appointed a new Chief Financial Officer.
The Australian company that specialises in the electrification of heavy trucks officially announced Philip Hempenstall in the role on 10 October 2025.
He commenced at Janus on the 13th October.
Hempenstall is understood to bring more than two decades in senior leadership CFO roles for companies in the Australian mining, heavy industry and construction sectors.
He is a Fellow with the Institute of Public Accountants and holds an MBA from the University of New England and a Bachelor of Commerce (Financial Accounting) from the University of Newcastle.
Working from the new Janus headquarters on the Central Coast of NSW, Hempenstall will, according to Janus, focus on best practice financial management, strategic planning and execution and commercial leadership.
He was previously a Non Executive Director at Visyload.
