The organising committee of the International Truck, Trailer & Equipment Show (ITTES) has announced that the event will again be promoted on TV.
“TV advertising is an integral part of the marketing plan for the 2014 ITTES and we are pleased to announce the 2014 commercial has now been launched,” said Show Director, Clint Hendry.
Set to air in March in the lead up to the show, the commercial portrays the magnitude and scope of the largest transport event in the Southern Hemisphere, featuring footage and highlights from the 2012 event. Demonstrative and static displays will be highlighted, treating viewers to just some of the billions of dollars of new-age equipment they can expect to see at this year’s event.
According to Hendry, promoting the show to the wider public has become a bigger part of the marking plan with the addition of the extra public day on Sunday. “Mainstream media outlets such as TV and radio will form a big part of the marketing mix,” he said.
The overall marketing campaign is set to incorporate a large print media element in quality trade magazines, truck fleet curtain advertising, specifically targeted direct mail campaigns and high-profile website promotions.
“These elements will coincide with daily press and broadcast opportunities, ensuring the show is exposed to the widest possible audience. The increase in promotion will escalate crowd numbers and significantly benefit exhibitors.”
