Isuzu Ute Australia donates to vital charities

As 2021 proves to be a year filled with challenges for many, this Christmas Isuzu Ute Australia (IUA) has pledged a $100,000 donation across three essential charities.

The vehicle maker recently announced it would donate to RizeUp Australia, the Starlight Children’s Foundation and the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

“The past two years have been like no other and through it all, these three essential charities have not waned in providing the life-saving and much needed services that they offer, to people right across the country,” said Hiroyasu Sato, IUA Managing Director.

“We felt it only right to contribute to the wonderful work they continue to do, and encourage others to do the same – together we can all share the Christmas spirit this holiday season.”

Recognising that domestic and family violence in Australia is a significant social injustice, RizeUp Australia’s mission is to drive awareness of these issues within society and at the same time, provide practical support for the families affected.

This donation will help them continue their vital homes and youth programs which empower and bring hope to so many vulnerable families.

For over 30 years, Starlight Children’s Foundation have used play, social connection and creativity to brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families. This donation will help grant life-changing Starlight Wishes as well as support Starlight’s vital in-hospital programs to help bring happiness to sick kids when they need it most.

As one of the largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisations in the world, the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) has been saving lives in rural and remote Australia for over 90 years. This donation will assist the RFDS in continuing to provide health care and 24-hour emergency services to Australians living and working in rural and remote locations.

The donations towards these three impactful charities, will see that some much-needed support and joy will go to families and those who need it.

This Christmas, IUA encouraged the community to show their support towards not-for-profit organisations like RizeUp Australia, the Starlight Children’s Foundation and the Royal Flying Doctor Service, that are continuing to make a difference right across the country.
