Industry farewells Alisdair

Industry stalwart Alisdair
Macleod passed away unexpectedly last week, aged 54. He leaves a wife and two children.

Macleod managed the Lindsay Fox-owned truck testing facility near Anglesea, some 110 km southwest of Melbourne, for more than 20 years.

As Manager of the test ground and ex-head of the Australian
Automotive Research Centre (AARC), he was well known throughout
the commercial road transport industry and will be sorely missed.

The funeral will be held this Friday in Geelong, with many in the motor
industry expected to farewell the well-liked family man.
