Hino to push its Advantages at MEGATRANS2018

Commercial vehicle manufacturer, Hino Australia, will showcase its unique range of business solutions, Hino Advantage, at inaugural supply chain event, MEGATRANS2018.

“At Hino, we are driven to do more for our customers – MEGATRANS2018 is an opportunity for current and potential customers to dive deeper into our Hino Advantage suite of business solutions including capped price services, Hino Traq telematics, Hino Genuine Parts, our finance options, and customer support provisions via our Customer Care Centre,” said Hino Motor Sales Australia Chairman and CEO, Steve Lotter.

“The truck on display will be the Hino 700 Series SH 2045 which is responsible for transporting the Hino Sports Deck – it will be the key focus at MEGATRANS2018 showcasing the various service offerings we provide within Hino Advantage.

“For customers in the transport and logistics industries, the range, model and specification of the vehicle is simply one part of the purchasing decision.

“Of equal importance are the services provided during and after the purchasing lifecycle, which is why the Hino Advantage program is our focus at MEGATRANS2018.

“It is an opportunity to showcase our unique offerings such as capped price service, which was recently extended to include all Hino trucks compliant with Euro 5 emissions.

“Hino is the only truck manufacturer in Australia to offer a capped price service program – this provides customers with the ability to budget ahead, reduce overall operating costs and peace of mind.

“New innovative technology provided by National Transport Insurance (NTI) has enhanced the Hino Roadside Assist program even further – stranded customers are now sent an SMS link to a map which updates the location of their service technician in real-time,” he said.

Hino Roadside Assist is complementary with every new Hino truck and available to customers 24 hours a day for the first three years after their purchase.

“Another leading initiative is our in-house Care Centre, which provides customers with personalised support solutions between 8.30am and 6pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST), which are the longest operating hours in the industry,” said Lotter.

“We understand that knowledge is power for business – Hino Traq is an innovative telematics system which pinpoints ways to streamline and control fuel and maintenance costs.

“Importantly it provides companies with the ability to benchmark and monitor truck performance and efficiency,” he said.

As a Toyota Group company, Hino also provides its customers with the opportunity to benefit from its complete fleet solution, including Toyota, Lexus, Toyota Material Handling, Toyota Financial Services and Toyota Fleet Management.

“The Hino Advantage suite is comprehensive and we encourage customers to visit our stand at MEGATRANS2018 to learn more,” said Lotter.

Hino will also showcase its latest partnership at MEGATRANS2018 with Preston Hire Racing Team 18’s 2017 Supercar on display and driver Lee Holdsworth and team owner Charlie Schwerkolt signing autographs on the stand from 10.30am on 10 May.

MEGATRANS2018 will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 10-12 May 2018.
