Seafood Direct and Butcher Boy Meats is a Queensland based mobile meat vendor. The company recently made the decision to implement a second Hino 300 Series truck into the fleet of mobile sales vehicles.
Company owner, Michelle Slessor, said that purchasing a second Hino was an easy choice.
“They have all the features I need for my operation – excellent reliability, comfort, and after-sales backup,” she said.
“They're safe, well-equipped, and the cabins are comfortable. They drive well, and I like their looks too. The six-speed autos in both my trucks are great, and 400-odd kilometres each week is handled with ease,” she said.
Both trucks are fitted with custom-built refrigerated bodies, designed and built by Icehawk Transport Refrigeration, which effectively turn the trucks into fully-functioning mobile storefronts.
The trucks' passenger sides open to reveal glass cabinets stocked with fresh meat and seafood, just like a shop.
