Hino Australia leads global success in parts and services

Commercial vehicle manufacturer, Hino Australia, ranks ahead of global leadership in parts and services, with its continued development of local branches being recognised worldwide once again.

Hino Motors Limited in Japan awarded Hino Australia with the Parts Development of the Year Award for the 14th consecutive year, and the Service Department of the Year Award for the 11th straight year.

Hino Australia Vice President – Product Support, Greg Bleasel, said the two awards are thanks to the hard work and support of the Hino Australia crew especially during the challenges of the pandemic.

“Despite lockdowns, our dealerships continued to provide essential preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs via flexible service options including courtesy drop-off and pick-ups, extending workshop hours and providing remote servicing options,” he said/

The company’s recent revitalisation of distribution channels has been a major key to success, including Hino’s new state-of-the-arts Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) to improve the supply chain and enhance capacity.

“The PDC is a driving force behind improved parts delivery to all dealers nationwide,” said Bleasel.

Hino Australia has over 65 dealerships and specialist service centres across the nation, with commitment to improving the services for dealerships and customers at the forefront.

“This new PDC facility demonstrates our commitment to supporting customer expectations and future business growth – we have seen record-breaking parts sales growth year-on-year pf 12 per cent.”
