Gulf Western Oil launches CK-4 oil

Gulf Western Oil has released its new Top Dog Indestructible 15W-40 CK-4 heavy-duty diesel engine oil.

According to Gulf Western Oil, the next-generation oil contains “Indestructible” additive technology specifically designed to protect high-powered, turbocharged Heavy Duty Diesel Engines. The unique formulation contains performance enhancing and superior wear protection technology that far exceeds the requirements of the latest API CK-4 lubricant specification.

Top Dog Indestructible 15W-40 CK-4 meets the requirements of most modern engine manufacturers specifications, and is compatible with API CJ-4, CI-4 and CH-4 applications, so it will also suit most older heavy-duty diesel engines. Having a low sulfated ash, phosphorus and sulfur (SAPS) level, it is also suitable for Diesel engines fitted with EGR, DPF and SCR/AdBlue.

This new product has seen years of research and development both in Australia and overseas that has culminated into measurable and repeatable real-world results, the company says. Long time Gulf Western Oil customer Blenners Transport is using the new Top Dog Indestructible 15W-40 CK-4 in its fleet of 160 trucks with measurable results.

“Top Dog Indestructible offers heavy-duty diesel engine operators increased service intervals, decreased engine wear, increased fuel efficiency through reduced friction, increased shear stability resulting in decreased oil consumption, and better dispersancy compared to conventional API CK-4 and CJ-4 specifications, resulting in cleaner engines that offer increased service life.”

Most importantly, TOP DOG Indestructible 15W-40 CK-4 offers improved reliability and less downtime, increasing profitability in the longterm for the end user.

Gulf Western Oil is the largest 100 per cent Australian owned lubricants company and has serviced the transport industry well for 30 years, offering a vast number of high-end API licensed and OEM approved products manufactured under an ISO 9001:2015 quality assurance management system certification.
