Global engineering, architecture and environmental consulting company GHD has appointed David Kinniburgh as new Global Market Leader for Transportation.
“We’re observing some significant changes to the way infrastructure is delivered across the globe. It’s important for us to be agile in our approach, and capitalise on the key levers of innovation and collaboration,” Kinniburgh said.
“I’m excited to be able to work collectively with our clients and our talented team in setting forth strategies to position our clients at the forefront of transportation. I see technical leadership, and a focus on adding value as our key differentiators in today’s market.”
Having spent almost 20-years with GHD, Kinniburgh transitioned from his role managing the company’s Sydney operations into the strategic post of driving global transportation initiatives.
GHD is involved in a number of transportation initiatives across the globe and in Australia. As part of the City East Alliance in Western Australia, for example, the company helped deliver an upgrade to a 4.2km stretch of Perth’s Greater Eastern Highway.
