Following a record sales year in 2022, Fuso is confident it can maintain momentum thanks to improving supply.
The Japanese manufacturer was able to record an all-time truck and bus sales record of 5319 units last year despite wide-ranging supply issues.
That represents a second consecutive yearly sales record for Fuso Australia.
The Fuso team is excited that it can continue delivering for its customers thanks to improved production of key models, with strong supply of Canter truck and Rosa bus models.
Fuso Truck and Bus Australia Director, Alex Müller, says Fuso is looking forward to a strong 2023 as it works to fulfill the high level of orders placed.
“Fuso is delighted to be able to support our customers with better supply of key models from Japan, especially our iconic Canter truck and Fuso light bus,” said Müller.
“We respect the hard work our customers do every day and are proud to offer them the best products, solutions and aftersales support through our strong Fuso dealership network,” he said.
Fuso is especially focused on delivering trucks to customers who are keen to take advantage of end-of-financial-year tax benefits that require delivery before 30 June.
The heavy-duty Fuso Shogun almost doubled its volume in 2022 and recorded its best-ever monthly sales result of 72.
This is despite supply issues that continue to affect some Shogun and Fighter models.
Boosting interest in the Shogun range was the well-received Shogun 510 13-litre heavy-duty model.
Fuso is the only truck brand to offer a manufacturer warranty program across its entire range that covers the truck for five years (or various mileage limits, whichever comes first).
