Freight carrier, Followmont Transport, will be moving its depot in Sydney it announced.
The company has confirmed it will move to a new state-of-the-art facility within the renowned industrial area of Erskine Park.
Strategically located along Sydney’s Western corridor, the location promises easy access from all areas of Sydney and intrastate connections, with which to facilitate continued smooth and efficient operations on the existing network.
The facility contains 16,000sqm floor space under the roof to house Followmont’s transport operation and to handle what it described as a “formidable 3PL undertaking”.
All operations commence as of Monday the 12 October.
“As we continue to grow it is important for us to remain consistent with reinvesting back into our business, this includes the facilities from which we operate,” said Followmont is an online statement.
“Our Sydney team have been working closely alongside our property team to prepare the facility.
“We are excited for this next chapter for our NSW team and customer base and look forward to not only the expansion of our network, but also the expansion of our existing relationships through this investment.”
