FMH Group has appointed former DHL Supply Chain UK and Ireland Chief Saul Resnick as CEO, effective 1 February 2026.
The appointment marks the next phase of growth for the private-equity backed logistics business.
Resnick previously led a €4 billion operation overseas employing more than 45,000 people.
He brings more than 20 years’ executive leadership experience in logistics, including a previous tenure as CEO of DHL ANZ.
FMH Group Chair, Paul Little AO, said the appointment reflects the company’s ambition to scale its operations and strengthen its position as one of Australia’s leading logistics providers.
“Our strategy is focused on growth, both organic and through strategic investment,” said Little.
“Saul brings deep experience leading transformation in complex, high-growth environments and will play a critical role in realising our vision for the next decade.”
Little said FMH Group is investing heavily in network expansion, technology and capability to lift performance, sustainability and customer experience across its national footprint.
Technology remains central to the group’s strategy, with recent investment in proprietary platforms and data analytics aimed at improving efficiency, lowering cost-to-serve and providing customers with greater visibility across the supply chain.
Resnick said FMH Group had strong foundations and significant potential for future growth.
“The opportunity ahead is to build a truly future-ready enterprise that continues to create value for our customers, people and partners,” he said. “I’m looking forward to leading the next stage of that journey.”
As part of the leadership transition, FMH Group has also appointed Chris Livitsanis to the newly created role of Chief Strategy and Operations Officer. Livitsanis brings experience across strategy, operations and transport, having held senior roles at Boston Consulting Group, Newcrest Mining and A.T. Kearney.
