The Craig Roseneder Award is presented each year by the ATA to recognise the professionalism of those who work behind the scenes in the trucking industry’s workshops.
ATA Chairman, David Simon, said the award is a crucial part of the industry’s calendar because it identifies and rewards the people who have contributed to taking the Australian trucking industry to a higher level of technical excellence. “The Craig Roseneder Award forms an important part of the trucking industry’s efforts to promote the commitment and achievement of individuals and organisations within the industry.”
The Craig Roseneder Award finalists for 2010 are:
• Rob Hodges – National Asset and Maintenance Manager, Mitchell Corporation, WA;
• Graham Nash – Maintenance Manager, Mountain Industries, NSW; and
• Chris Gass – Trailer Fleet Manager, Bunker Freight Lines, Vic.
“Given the calibre of the finalists, and indeed of all the entries, the judges have obviously had a difficult task. The industry is eagerly anticipating the announcement of a winner from these deserving finalists,” said David.
This year’s winner of the Craig Roseneder Award will receive a scholarship to attend the American Trucking Associations’ Maintenance Council meeting in early 2011 and $1500 in spending money.
The winner will also be presented with an individual trophy and a gift from award sponsor Castrol, as well as complimentary registration for the 2011 ATA/ARTSA Technical and Maintenance Conference.
The winner will be announced on Monday, 15 November at the Castrol Awards Dinner, held as part of the annual Technical and Maintenance Conference, which takes place on 15 and 16 November at the Silverwater Resort in San Remo, Phillip Island.
