Excitement builds for Trucking Australia 2017

The Australian Trucking Association (ATA) has given the industry a sneak peek at what to expect when Trucking Australia 2017 gets under way in Darwin on 21-23 June.

According to the ATA, safety, chain of responsibility obligations and the future of Australia’s trucking industry will be the main topics of discussion.

Every delegate at Trucking Australia plays a role in shaping the future of the Australian trucking industry,” the ATA said. “As the ones on the front lines, we need you to tell us what should be done to keep improving the trucking industry's safety, viability and professionalism.

“Trucking Australia is where we celebrate our achievers at our very special closing event, the ATA Foundation Sponsors Gala Awards Dinner, which includes the presentation of the 2017 National Trucking Industry Awards.”

TA 2017 will also include working lunches and a formal dinner, with awards, an auction and a gala night with opportunities to relax and network with other industry members. The National Trucking Industry Awards will recognise achievements of members across several categories. TruckSafe will also acknowledge long-standing members while the Kenworth Legends Lunch will provide entertaining and insightful stories from the industry over the decades.

Interested parties can register for TA 2017 at the ATA website.
