The Fair Work Ombudsman has written to several employers to advise of them of the campaign and provide educational materials about workplace laws.

Fair Work inspectors will now begin randomly selecting up to 50 businesses for audit from Bendigo, Castlemaine, Ballarat, Horsham, Warrnambool, Portland, Hamilton, Camperdown, Shepparton, Colac, Kyneton, St Arnaud, Echuca, Swan Hill, Mildura, Seymour, Benalla, Wodonga, Wangaratta, Leongatha, Morwell, Bairnsdale, Healesville, Kilmore and Geelong.

In early 2010, inspectors will select another list of employers for investigation to ensure workers are being paid correct wage rates, penalty rates and allowances.

Fair Work Ombudsman Executive Director, Michael Campbell, has urged employers to positively embrace the campaign as an opportunity to improve their compliance with workplace laws; saying that the objective of the campaign is to assist employees in understanding workplace laws, including Modern Awards and minimum National Employment Standards.
