Daimler Trucks subsidiary Detroit will celebrate its 75th anniversary with the presentation of a heavy-duty engine platform as well as the next generation cutaway engine and a new after-treatment device.

All innovations can be seen at the upcoming Brisbane Truck Show in Queensland. According to Rob Sisk, President and CEO of MTU Detroit Diesel Australia, the stand will honour both the company’s proud history of the brand.

“For the past 75 years Detroit has consistently met the demands of its customers and the industry by pioneering new products and technological advances. Our brand is built on the tenets of strength and commitment to quality and tradition, making the brand what it is today,” he said.

“This year, more than ever, we want our customers to be immersed in all things Detroit: from the purposeful design and attention to detail that we pride ourselves on, including the internal technology of the heavy-duty engine platform, to the eye-catching exteriors of our products,” he added.
