Dealer opens for business in QLD

A new truck dealership which cost more than $35 million to build has opened near Brisbane.

The new 9,500-square-metre site, launched by Daimler Truck Australia Pacific and Velocity Vehicle Group, is within close proximity to Ipswich Motor Way, Darra.

It features a 36-bay workshop with two 29-metre B-double pits, a shaker and roller tester, three wash bays, three express assessment bays, an external hardstand for 126 trucks, a separate service reception and service customer lounge in addition to a sales customer lounge.

As for spare parts support, the dealership’s integrated parts warehouse is reported to be 33 per cent larger.
