A Northern Australian business has been crowned by Daimler Truck Asia Pacific as its Dealer of the Year.
At a gala event held in Melbourne overnight, RGM Maintenance took out the prestigious award, its second of the evening having also been recognised as the Freightliner 2024 Regional Dealer of the Year.
Speaking at the Melbourne Park Centrepiece event, Daimler Truck Australia Pacific President and CEO, Daniel Whitehead, praised RGM Maintenance, a company headed up by Russell Newman and Greg Jackson operating Daimler Truck dealerships in Townsville, Rockhampton, Mackay, Cairns and Darwin.
“RGM’s approach to customer service can be described with one word — awesome,” said Whitehead.
“Russell, Greg and everyone at all their dealerships put the customer first in every situation. This approach is right at the centre to their success and one of the key reasons we are so grateful they represent Daimler Truck.”
Daimler Trucks Perth was named the Freightliner 2024 Metropolitan Dealer of the Year.
Meanwhile, Daimler Trucks Somerton was announced as the Mercedes-Benz Trucks 2024 Metropolitan Dealer of the Year and Daimler Trucks Shepparton took home the Mercedes-Benz Trucks 2024 Regional Dealer of the Year.
Other highlights included STM Trucks and Machinery taking out the award for the Fuso 2024 Metropolitan Dealer of the Year, with Daimler Trucks Murwillumbah recognised as the Fuso 2024 Regional Dealer of the Year.
Additionally, Daimler Truck Australia Pacific announced its first Daimler Truck Sustainable Dealer of the Year.
The new award was given to Daimler Trucks Toowoomba.
