Customised trucks on show in Newcastle

Up to 15 of Newcastle’s best customised trucks are expected to be on display at Beresfield in the Hunter Valley on Saturday, 3 May.

Initially organised by the staff at MVM Auto’s as an opportunity to demonstrate the company’s expertise in sleeper cab air conditioning, a number of their customers who have customised their trucks with lighting and polished metal components will be showing their ‘blinged-up’ rigs to the general public.

A carnival atmosphere will be supported with a free BBQ, a jumping castle for children and a live band playing throughout the day.

MVM Auto’s has been operating in Sydney for over 15 years and opened the Newcastle branch to service the area as it rapidly grows as a transport hub spanning three major highways and the port.

Renee Saliba from MVM Auto’s said that the increase in demand for sleeper cab air conditioning was paralleled by many truck owners wanting to individualise their vehicles with items such as mirror finish exhaust stacks, LED lighting and polished walk plates and drive axle mudguards.

The truck show will be held at 41 Enterprise Drive Beresfield between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, 3 May.
