Craig Membrey, Managing Director of Membrey’s Transport & Crane Hire, will display a new Limited Edition Kenworth T909 Director Series truck at this week’s 2014 International Truck, Trailer & Equipment Show (ITTES).
In addition, Membrey will also display his other Kenworth truck at ITTES, which has a painted image of his deceased son Rowan, who died in 2011. The truck will be used specifically to promote the work of mental health organisation, Beyond Blue.
“Two years ago, I started this journey of helping a great organisation like Beyond Blue to get the message of awareness out to the public, and we did so using a Kenworth truck. This year, we have brought that to the next level,” Membrey said.
“We’re honoured that Kenworth has built us these trucks, which are not only rolling tributes to Rowan, myself and Beyondblue, but also symbolise the fact that Membrey’s is more than just a transport and crane hire business.
“We will also launch a die-cast model of the Rowan truck at the Show as part of the Drake collection. For those interested in seeing it, we will unveil it on Friday, 4 April at 1pm.”
