Convoy for Kids to kick off this Sunday

Over 600 vehicles will participate in Sunday’s 21st Anniversary Convoy for Kids charity held in Sydney. The convoy will assemble Huntingwood in Sydney’s west before making its way to to Sydney Olympic Park.

Under police escort, the Convoy will leave at 8am and consist of triple road trains and B-doubles, followed by the major fleets and hundreds of smaller owner-driver and company supported trucks. Rural Fire Service bushfire tankers and cleverly decorated 4WD’s round up the Convoy, providing a spectacular sight along the route.

In addition, all convoy members will be entitled to a 15-minute truck wash for any vehicle type prior to the convoy for just $50.

Convoy for Kids Sydney has raised over $1.6 million for the Westmead Children’s Hospital, Sydney Children’s Hospital, NRMA Careflight, Telstra Child Flight and NETS (Neonatal & Paediatric Emergency Service).
