Christophe Martin’s job description does not really match a classic nine-to-five role. As President of Volvo Group Truck Sales in Asia and Oceania, he focuses on accelerating dealer development and, at the same time, expanding the product line-up of the Volvo Group truck brands– including Volvo Trucks, UD Trucks, Renault Trucks, Mack Trucks and the Eicher Truck brand in India. But according to Martin, it’s exactly that complexity that makes the job exciting.
French-born Martin first joined the Volvo Group in 1993, and prior to his current appointment, he held numerous management positions such as Sales and Marketing Deputy Director, Director and Vice President. His area of expertise is in developing and delivering sales and marketing business strategies in various parts of the world, including the European, African and Asian regions, so he is bringing some serious experience to the table for his current role.
