Western Australian transport and logistics provider Centurion has achieved a major milestone for its off-grid renewable energy and electric truck project.
Last week it completed solar installation at its north site at Hazelmere depot with project partner CAPE Dunstans.
As one of the largest rooftop solar arrays in Western Australia it will support 30 battery electric rigids and prime movers.
Centurion aims to have electric trucks operational at the site shortly.
“The completion of the solar installation at our north site is not just a technical achievement — it’s a testament to our commitment to accelerating the transition to clean, renewable energy,” said Centurion CEO, Justin Cardaci.
“We are poised to further enhance our sustainable transport infrastructure as we near the final phase of our electric truck charging stations.
“This project represents our dedication to emission reduction, sustainable transport solutions, and leading the charge in electrifying our fleet. A huge thank you to all the teams and partners for their tireless efforts in making this possible.”
