Cat Trucks has launched a new Facebook site aimed at truck owners, drivers, industry specialists and fans of the brand.
The Facebook page is intended to be an “engaging source of valuable facts” for industry professionals as well as an entertaining and educational resource for the families and friends of truck operators.
Among the information stream available on the Facebook page will be detailed input on all Cat Trucks products including the new short-bonneted CT630S model and the flagship CT630LS along with emerging developments of upcoming new models.
The Facebook site is intended to develop into a strong photographic library as contributors join Cat Trucks in the presentation of images showing trucks working in diverse roles around the country.
Similarly, planning is in place for the production of videos which will walk viewers through the many features that contribute to the making of every Cat truck.
“A great deal of thought and planning went into the design of our Facebook page,” said Cat Trucks Marketing & Communications Manager Glen Sharman.
“Apart from the attributes of Facebook as a modern communication medium, we wanted to provide a site with far more interesting and useful information than most run-of-the-mill productions, and we’re confident that is exactly what we have achieved.”
