Brisbane Truck Show almost here

With less than a week to go, the Brisbane Truck Show is shaping up to be the largest commercial vehicle show ever held in Queensland. The Hon. Campbell Newman MP, Premier of Queensland, now said he is looking forward to engaging with the Queensland transport industry and officially opening the event next week.

“I look forward to opening the Brisbane Truck Show and show my support for an industry that plays such a vital role in keeping Queensland moving,” Premier Newman said.

CVIAQ CEO Brett Wright said he welcomed the Premier to what can only be described as one of the premier transport events in Australia: “We welcome our Premier of Queensland to the Brisbane Truck Show and look forward to him meeting with our industry leaders when he is attending the Official Opening Breakfast function. We are sure it will be a great introduction to the industry,” he said.

The Premier will join function host and Show Ambassador, former rugby league champion Shane Webcke, and close to 300 invited dignitaries, industry guests and exhibitors at the breakfast function.

The 2013 Brisbane Truck Show will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from May 16-19.
