BP opens new truckstop in Melbourne

BP has announced that its new truckstop in Dandenong in Melbourne’s east has now begun operations.

The site, on the corner of Greens and Hammond Road provides commercial customers with access to both the Eastlink and Monash freeways.

The new facility was built and completed ahead of its schedule at a cost of around $10 million. It features wide and convenient refuelling positions, hi-flow pumps, a weighbridge and extensive parking. AdBlue is also available at the pump at the Dandenong site.

BP Australia’s Vice President Wholesale, Reseller and Retail, Mike McGuinness, said “We now have 40 dedicated truckstops and key diesel sites in our network. These facilities are on major truck roads and are designed specifically with truck drivers’ needs in mind.

“Our sites are located where we can support the road transport industry. Being in the right location makes it efficient for drivers to refuel and keep moving.”
