BP has launched its 2011 Education Grant Program in Queensland, offering secondary schools up to $3000 towards projects that enrich students’ learning experiences.
Last year, Keeping Palm Island Beautiful, Hands of Ecology, Borneo Survey and Community Camp were all projects carried out by state secondary schools in Queensland, funded by a BP Education Grant.
Applications for the grant should centre around projects that fit within the categories of energy, environment, science and technology or engineering. All applications will be judged by a panel from BP Australia, the Queensland Department of Education, Catholic Education and Independent Schools representatives.
Applications close on 29 April. More information about the grants is available at www.bp.com.au/educationgrants.
