Yesterday BagTrans and Spectrum Transport were transitioned to Border Express the parent company announced.
Since FMH Group’s acquisition of Border Express in 2024, the group have been working closely with BagTrans and Spectrum to align operations.
”These acquisitions mark the culmination of that work, unifying our expertise, capabilities, and networks to deliver a stronger, more connected service for our customers,“ said Border Express.
This week employees, systems, and services were brought together under one brand.
The integration is being rolled out in phases to ensure a smooth transition during its busiest period leading up to Christmas.
Border Express said it is working closely with customers and suppliers to make the merger as smooth as possible, with dedicated support in place as it migrates systems.
Now that the first phase is complete with BagTrans customers, employees, and suppliers having now joined Border Express the next phase will begin in March next year.
That will see customer service and operational systems fully migrated to Border Express, with further process improvements to follow.
As a result the business will undertake an expanded offering with a new service joining Border Express’ established parcel and pallet express network.
The BagTrans brand will be retired as the integration is completed.
”With BagTrans and Spectrum now operating as Border Express, we look forward to continuing to deliver smarter logistics solutions for our customers nationwide,“ said Border Express in an online statement.
