Australian Truck and 4WD Rentals delivers 1000th Fuso

Hertz franchisee Australian Truck and 4WD Rentals has achieved a milestone.
Having purchased its first Fuso back in 2001, the company has greatly expanded its presence across the country over the last 23 years, now operating locations across New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia with a fleet of 350 vehicles.

Fuso Adelaide Branch manager, Darren Calvert, handed over the keys for the 1000th Fuso to Australian Truck and 4WD Rentals Hertz Fleet Manager, Luke Gould, last week.

This 1000th model is a new Canter fitted with a curtainsider body, and was recently updated with a new exterior design that includes 30 per cent brighter LED headlights and an upgraded multimedia unit.

Daimler Truck Australia Pacific Sales and Marketing Vice President, Andrew Assimo, congratulated Australia Truck and 4WD Rentals on its milestone.

“Taking delivery of 1000 Fuso trucks is an awesome achievement and we are thrilled to have such a great relationship with the team at Australia Truck and 4WD Rentals,” he said.

“They are committed to giving their customers the safest trucks with the latest technology, so it makes sense that they choose Fuso.”

Gould provided further comments on the product, expressing his satisfaction with the 1000th Fuso as well as the received support from the dealership network and Daimler Truck head office.

“The Fuso products have all the features our customers need and we really like the fact they come with inbuilt safety features,” he said.

“The fact that they are so easy to drive is also a big plus. Fuso trucks have long service intervals, which is great for us, and we appreciate the warranty and servicing support.”
