The Australian Road Transport Suppliers Association (ARTSA) is running training courses on truck and trailer engineering, as well as a course on certification and homologation in Melbourne from 1 – 3 October.
According to ARTSA, the courses will have a strong engineering focus, but will not be restricted to just engineers.
“The courses are suited to all people with a professional interest in heavy truck and trailer safety and mechanical performance,” ARTSA said.
ARTSA will address the basic engineering principles and characteristics of heavy vehicles and their components, for its truck and trailer engineering course on 1 – 2 October.
ARTSA will cover the certification requirements for heavy vehicles as part of its Certification and Homologation course, on 3 October.
Both courses will be held at Lifesaving Victoria in Port Melbourne.
