Industrial gas specialist, Air Liquide Pacific, has launched new A-double tankers for its Western Australian bulk fleet.
The company has deployed five of these high performance liquid oxygen combinations with carrier partner Goldstar Transport.
The tankers were built and delivered by Metro Engineering.
According to Air Liquide in a statement, “these state-of-the-art tankers have replaced our ageing roadtrain ISO fleet, allowing us to transition to a purpose-built tanker fleet.
“The gross vehicle mass facilitated by the upgrade has been increased to 90 tonnes enabling a payload of 53 tonnes. Air Liquide remains committed to enhancing its supply chain and generating new efficiencies to better serve our customers in Western Australia.”
In reducing the amount of trips required for the task, Air Liquide has been able to, as an effective consequence, make valuable progress in limiting the potential for disruption to customer sites.
