A new executive lineup has been announced for the 4PL management team of AFS Logistics.
Former CouriersPlease Chief Commercial Officer, Paul Roper has been named Chief Operating Officer while Chris Carey (GM Networks) and Tim Bowen (GM Customer Partnerships) will also help strengthen the team.
The new 4PL Management team has extensive commercial and operational experience in international and domestic air, sea and road businesses as well as 3PL and 4PL transportation management.
“AFS Logistics is confident that this experienced team will add great value to their existing and future customers as the market continues to navigate challenging times in the transportation and supply chain industry,” the company said in a statement.
AFS Logistics was founded in 1995 with a vision to become Australia’s most trusted logistics management solutions provider.
Today, it is now regarded as one of the nation’s fastest growing logistics management specialists, supporting over 80 leading brands across multiple categories, throughout Australia and internationally.
To support this growth, AFS Logistics has purposefully increased its bench strength by expanding the leadership team and elevating its capabilities to ensure customers continue to receive industry leading solutions and best in class service across their supply chains.
Noteworthy changes to the leadership team began earlier in the year when the company appointed Sam Eid as Chief Executive Officer.
