Advanced speed cameras in SA

Plans are underway to install new advanced speed cameras on the South Eastern Freeway in South Australia. These cameras will be installed on sections of the route where 51 truck crashes have been reported in the past five years.

As a result of these truck crashes, two people have died and 19 have been injured. To add, 30 properties were also damaged.

The South Australian Government is calling on trucks with five or more axles to reduce their speed when coming into Adelaide.
