The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) has announced a series of industry information forums it will be holding across Australia, starting in Victoria on 19 January.
According to the NVHR, the forums will provide information on the application process, benefits, safety improvements and productivity gains achievable under Advanced Fatigue Management (AFM).
The forums will provide the opportunity for industry to engage with the NHVR and ask questions in relation to AFM Accreditation. There are limited spaces for businesses to make one-on-one consultations regarding AFM accreditation following the forums.
The first event, held on 19 January from 2:00-6:00pm, will take place at the Warrnambool Greyhound Racing Club, with the second event on 20 January from 2:00-5:00pm at West Waters Hotel & Entertainment Complex in Caroline Springs. The last Victorian forum to be announced will be held on 21 January between 2:00-5:00pm at Century Inn Traralgon.
In addition, the NHVR has also created an industry forum webpage that has the contact details for anyone wanting a one-on-one session.
