TNT Express’ new $40 million flagship Australian depot in Welshpool WA is part of TNT’s $100 million investment in Australian infrastructure.
This state-of-the-art depot houses TNT’s largest fully-automated parcel sorting system in the Asia Pacific region and will process 2.8 million consignments annually.
Currently, the Welshpool depot employs 270 staff but TNT has plans for this to increase to 350 within the next five years.
Managing Director TNT Express Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands, Bob Black and Regional Managing Director TNT North Asia, Michael Drake will oversee the official opening that takes place later this month.
