2014 ITTES by the numbers

The 2014 International Truck, Trailer and Equipment Show (ITTES), Melbourne’s global industry gathering, is officially on track to become the largest trucking event ever staged in Australia.

CRTNews first broke the news on Friday. To showcase the full scale of the event, we have now compiled the latest data at a glance.

According to Show Director Clint Hendry, 30,000 square metres of exhibition space have already been reserved over the course of the first seven weeks since the start of the marketing campaign – more than the total exhibition space of any other show in Australia, and with nine months to go until the official start.

Six major truck brands have already confirmed their involvement in the Melbourne event – including the now US-owned Commercial Vehicles Group. In addition, one new brand will be on show for the first time ever in Australia. “It looks like we will have more truck brands represented than any show previously,” Hendry said.

“With the announcement of the ARTSA Global Truck Trailer Leadership Summit to be held just before the event, it's safe to say the 2014 ITTES will set a new milestone in Australia's trucking industry.”

Update as of 29 July 2013:

  • 30,000 sqm space filled
  • 5,000 sqm of new under cover exhibition space in new pavilion
  • 180 registered exhibitors
  • 26 trailer builders registered
  • 6 truck brands registered
