The Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre in Victoria will play host to the fourth annual Victorian Transport Infrastructure Conference (VTIC) on May 28-29. Public and private sectors will discuss the prioritisation, planning and delivery of critical transport infrastructure in Victoria.

The conference will provide the ideal opportunity to examine projects shaping the State, with the main aim being to assist the community in better understanding the Victorian market and providing them with an effective, efficient and environmentally viable means of being involved with projects.

Sectors of transport infrastructure to be addressed include roads, rails, busways, public transport, ports, freight, along with plenty of other topics including sustainability, winning government business, tendering and PPP’s.

The conference also gives delegates an open forum to discuss topics and issues concerning transport professionals, operators, contractors, consultants and investors.

Keynote speakers at the VTIC will include Hon Terry Mulder, Minister for Public Transport and Roads; Garry Liddle, VicRoads Chief Executive Officer; Jim Miller, Executive Director Head of Infrastructure at Macquarie Capital Limited; and Brian Negus, General Manager Public Policy RACV.
