Due to the damage caused by recent natural disasters, the annual Lights on the Hill convoy has been postponed from 26 February to 6 August.
“Out of respect to the deceased of the tragic floods, we decided to change of date,” says organiser Kathy White. “In addition, half the profits will go towards victims who have had their houses washed away and lost their family members in the Lockyer Valley.
“I have been cooking and working with these people and it’s a shear tragedy to see them suffering, so let’s show the Valley that the transport industry supports them. That’s what Lights on the Hill is all about.”
